I grew up in the United States on the East Coast,
then moved to Oregon, where I worked professionally
to deepen public support for the arts.
For the last eight years I have served the ill and the homeless
in lay ministries at an Episcopal cathedral.
After a long interlude, I returned to New York,
and graduated from Barnard College and Columbia University
in 2003 with a degree in Classical Greek.
